DR. Hamdino Mohamed is the Senior Nutrition Sensitive Agriculture Advisor at Blooming World International in Kenya. He applies Food seurity and health systems management, leadership and, innovative approaches to increase access, equity and quality health services among the vulnerable populations. His experience spans over 27 years in Agriculture,horticulture, vegetable crop production, vegetable varieties, seed systems, Food and Nutrition and health systems strengthening and organizational development. He is passionate in the use of data to target bottlenecks affecting management, system quality and community engagement.
This includes research and programme design facilitation contributing to strategic thinking, program and project theory of change and impact assessment articulation and development of key products on nutrition-sensitive agriculture and food security in the Indo-Pacific and South-East Asia Region, working towards achieving more sustainable food systems for healthier and more nutritious diets.
Areas of focus include nutrition, Maternal and Children Health Maternal and Children Health, school feeding and food environments, policy, food security monitoring, early response activities and climate resilient agriculture
